5/2/2011 - Important Dues Deduction Change for 2011
Due to recent legislation in our state, MEA will no longer be payroll deducting your dues beginning this fall. Representatives will be coming to your school over the next couple weeks and presenting the various options available to pay your dues in the coming years. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Credit Card billing are two of the options available -- if you have questions, please see your Faculty Rep or call the MEA Office.
4/4/2011 - Spring Membership is HERE!
Spring Membership has returned and now is a great time to recruit new members! If a potential member has never been a member before (of any State/Local affiliated with NEA), they can join now and be a full member without paying dues until September! You can download and print a form HERE. Contact the MEA Office if you have any questions or need more spring membership forms.

Tax Information
Did you know that a portion of your MEA dues are tax deductible? If you itemize deductions, you can claim most of your dues as an expense. Information will be available January 2012
12/1/10 - Will Moore Retiring
As many of you may know, our AEA Organizational Consultant, Will Moore, is retiring at the end of this month. Will has been working with MEA for the last 18 years, and has been a vital part of our organization. MEA has been putting together a memory book for Will, and if you would like to contribute a story, memory, photograph, or just well wishes, please email them to heather.tanner@arizonaea.org by Wednesday, December 8.
